As an OT this is my absolute favourite item to have at home or in the classroom. It's a hollow, sealed box that lights up using a USB charger.
Once it's lit up, you can play on the surface of it with sand, magnetic tiles, coloured stones, cars, or anything really! It gives play a lit up sensory perspective and keeps everyone more engaged.
These light boxes appeal to younger kids right up to older sensory seekers.
