Chore Chart Set I Magnetic Visual Support

The Chore Chart Set by Prepp'd Kids is a modern, dynamic visual aid. Designed to encourage, guide or redirect your child through their daily or weekly chores.

This simple magnetic visual support features 1 magnetic board, divided into 2 columns - 'to do' and 'done'. Simply place the chores that need to be done in the 'to do' column, then move them to the 'done' column as each is completed. Some kids will really enjoy moving them over themselves too, as it gives them a sense of accomplishment and helps to keep them on track as they work through their chores. Visual supports are incredibly powerful in assisting kids to develop independence in their daily routines and activities.

To get started, sit down with your child to discuss the chores that they are being assigned. Depending on age and where they are at, they may start with just one chore for the day or week, or could be given lots of chores to get done over the course of a week.

Use the chore magnets with the chart as a visual reminder and 'to do list'. Initially your child may need close support and guidance to work through the tasks. With consistency and reinforcement many children will be able to work towards using the charts independently, and then later, to no longer needing the charts to remember their routine.
