Time Timer 3" Small

Time Timer Silent / Audible Visual Timers provide the ability to judge how much time is left without having to know how to tell time.

These timers are one of our all time favourite resources for home, in the classroom, during therapy sessions and more. An amazing resource for helping kids, teens and adults alike to understand how much time is left, or how long until an activity is happening. For example, how much time is left for iPad play, or how long until we go to the park?

The 3 inch Timer is the most popular timer of this range. It is perfect for individual or small group work. It's size makes it most appropriate for use on a table or desk. It's also very portable and a favourite with therapists who deliver sessions on the go across settings.

The 8 inch Timer and 12 inch Timer are great options for group and even classroom settings as the larger faces make them easily visible from around the room or from further away.

The products operate with high colour resolution, large dial numbers, and ultra-quiet quartz movement. These additional features make Time Timers perfect for students with ADD, ADHD, autism and more.

Time Timers work in both individual and group situations. With the Time Timer, users understand the passage of time and can monitor their own activities, leading to increased independence and improved self-esteem. Better time awareness also relieves the stress and anxiety of disorientation.

Choose to use the very visual red circle only or add sound with the "beep-beep" sound to signal when time's up. Operates on "AA" batteries (not included). The time disc may be moved manually in either direction and can be set at any point on the face.

          Time Timers are Excelllent

"We now use time-timers in all of our Primary classrooms and will start to introduce them into our secondary classrooms soon. Great product which we find helps every student, not just our neurodiverse students."

"I recently bought the Time Timer Twist and the Time Timer MOD—both are great products that do exactly what they’re meant to do. That said, I do have a few observations and preferences worth noting. Time Timer Twist The Twist has a sleek design and includes some handy features like a pause function and adjustable alarm volume (mute, low, high). However, it takes a bit of effort to use—it doesn’t start registering minutes until you’ve twisted it about a quarter turn, which feels unintuitive. Also, it lacks the signature red disc face that visually shows the time passing—something I missed. Time Timer MOD The MOD is more responsive and user-friendly. The small central dial lets you set 15 or 30 minutes with just a small turn, which is great for quick setups. It’s visually intuitive and easy to use. Unfortunately, mine ended up being commandeered by my daughter… so I bought another one: Time Timer 3" This one is an absolute gem. It’s compact, comes with a drawstring pouch, and includes a dry-erase card you can clip onto the timer. The flip cover doubles as both a protective lid and a stand. What really impressed me is the dial mechanism—smooth and precise, with a small rubberised nub at the end of the dial to grip as you rotate. Despite the smaller size, it’s super easy to use and includes both mute and sound options for the alarm."

          Exactly what we needed

"This timer is exactly what we needed for helping children to understand the concept of time and 'how many more minutes'"

          Perfect visual timer

"My son has ASD and ADHD and we are homeschooling at the moment. We use the timer for tasks, so he isn’t overwhelmed and knows he only needs to focus for a short time, and for breaks. I’m thinking of buying another one for him to use when he returns to school!"

          Excellent product

"I've had timers for my son before but he hasn't taken to any of them like this one. Super easy to set and visual. Really helps with transition to new tasks"

          Q&A

Hi...looking for simple books for 6yr old autistic child on crossing the road, personal space, getting a haircut etc....any suggestions?? Many thanks.
Hi and thank you for your question. We have a couple of resources that might be worth taking a look at, both books and our video modelling series (they are from the US): https://www.mydiffability.com.au/products/model-me-kids-model-me-going-places-dvd-photo-cd https://www.mydiffability.com.au/search?q=learning+to+get+along The other thing I might suggest if you don't think these are suitable would be to do a bit of a google - there are a lot of great (free) resources online for teaching these sorts of skills. If you try googling social story for getting a haircut (for example) you should find some nice resources online. I hope this helps! : )
