Reward Chart Set

The Reward Chart set by Prepp'd Kids is a functional, magnetic, modern version of a traditional reward chart. Seriously, what other reward chart features rewards like babycinos or iPad time?!

Place the tasks you are working towards (goals) on the left hand side, then track progress using stars. Can be tailored to suit the goal / stage of attainment, for example star may be given several times a day, or once a day / week depending on the task. Place the reward that's being worked towards on the right hand side. As the child earns stars they get closer to claiming their reward.

Tips for getting started:

• Encourage your child to participate in the selection of their own relevant and age-appropriate rewards 
• You can start by setting just one goal or task, or work on a few at a time
• Discuss and agree on how many stars your child requires in order to meet their reward. This may vary according to things like the child's age, their understanding of reward systems, and where they are at in terms of mastering that skill or task
• Use provided stars to encourage and positively reinforce your child's efforts and progress toward their reward. The key here is positive reinforcement and lots of it!
• Use the reward chart to support development of independence in activities of daily living, including things like toilet training, brushing teeth, bathing/showering and bedtime routine. Promote family values such as sharing, using manners, playing nicely with siblings. Encourage healthier eating habits and behaviour at the dinner table. The possibilities are endless!
• Set realistic and achievable expectations and be sure to celebrate with your child when they demonstrate progress toward and reach their reward.
• The magnetic base chart is liquid chalk friendly and designed to grow with your family. You can personalise with your child/ren's names or customise it further using liquid chalk (not included)
